Junk Sign Litterbugs of the year!
Because Street SPAM increased significantly in 2009, the Toronto
Advertising Hall of Shame has awarded Certificates on No-Merit by categories.
Online voting for Toronto's worst Junk Sign Litterbugs began in September. Voting ended January 29, 2010.
No claim is made for accuracy. Votes were tabulated from received email.

All-time 2009 Street SPAM winner also holds the record for the worse single-day litter campaign - setting all new record for neighbourhood littering!!
An estimated 20,000 traffics signs, street light and utilities poles from Mississauga to downtown were defaced this week, making GI Jane/Booty Camp Fitness the single-largest one-day litter champion.
These folks just don't care about Toronto.

Far, and far and away, City Asphalt Sealing of Richmond Hill is Toronto's worst Street SPAM litterbug with an estimated 100,000 illegal eyesore junk signs postered/plastered to the backside of traffic signs, traffic signal poles, postal boxes throughout the city. The city doesn't seem to enforce the sign by-laws very effectively and City Asphalt knows it well. Imagine if this company were fined just $5.00 for each violation.
