Royal Lepage realtor Street SPAM Litters neighbourhoods with questionable advertising
March 13, 2010 - Is a Royal Lepage realtor posing as a Consumer Awareness Hotline on its Toronto-wide Street SPAM Junk Signs and luring unsuspecting people into a real estate deal? In "homemade-looking" printed junk signs plastered throughout the west toronto and elsewhere, a Lepage agent litters neighbourhoods and may be deceiving the public. Would you buy a house from someone advertising on a street with a "Litter-on-a-stick" sign? The signs advertise and 800 number (1-888-711-4893) but it really Lepage at 905-279-8300. It is Royal Lepage at 2150 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, ON L5B 1M8. Call to complain and tell your friends to stay clear of this realtor. Alert residents along Widdicombe Hill Blvd. and other West Toronto neighbourhoods have started to remove these signs. You can help. Tell friends and neighbours about these eyesore signs and contact city Councillor Howard Moscoe, councillor_moscoe@toronto.ca, to complain. Also, contact: Michelle Forde or Realestate Council of Ontario
