Killing King Street - Cleveland tourist gets "the finger"
from King Street eyesore junk sign posterer October 11, 2008 - Toronto, here's what eyesore junk sign posterers on King Street have to say to you. Photo taken and submitted by a tourist from Cleveland here to see The Sound of Music at The Princess of Wales Theatre. The gentleman pictured and one assistant glued and postered every utility, street light, TTC pole on both sides of King Street from University to Bathhurst, gluing eight (8) large signs per pole. They also postered every Canada Post box and every traffic signal box. They carry the signs distributed to them in a supermarket carriage along with a bucket of glue and a large gluing brush from a thoughtless and allegedly illegal postering company. It's probably an easy chore to locate the eyesore junk sign company through its clients whose phone numbers and addresses appear on all the posters. Talk about litter! Talk about a tourist offended while spending big bucks at a Toronto theatre. Talk about the mess on King Street. Shame on you Mr. Finger and shame of your employer. Call your city councillor to complain. Tell friends and neighbours about these eyesore signs and contact city Councillor Howard Moscoe councillor_moscoe@toronto.ca to complain.
